Getting Started - Cyber Attack Surface Management
The “Data Extract” capability can be found within the “Reports” page of the Automox Console in addition to other catalog reporting choices available for multiple use-cases. This new report provides uncomplicated highly flexible tracking of patch differences over time, expanding patch program performance tracking capabilities significantly for Automox customers.
1. To produce a fresh report, click the “View Report” button associated with the “Data Extract” report menu list item as depicted in the above screenshot. This will present a dialog containing a summary of existing reports if previously run as shown below.
2. Click “Generate New”.
3. Choose “Patch History” from the dropdown list
4. Input both starting and ending dates for the desired reporting period.
NOTE: A maximum of 90 days is permitted per reporting period starting from April 2021 onward.
5. Check the time period inputs for accuracy and when ready to begin, Click “Generate” then sit back and relax! Reports like this can take several minutes to run depending on many different factors.
“Status” will indicate what stage or state the report is in currently. When the report has successfully completed, it will be downloadable from within the “Data Extract” list view page as illustrated in our second step above.
All “Data Extract” reports generated will only last for a 24 hour period so be sure to download your report upon completion or you may have to re-run the report! Tell us what you think about the Automox Data Extract report on the Automox Alive Community!
