See for yourself how policy-driven IT Automation saves time and eliminates risk.

Figuring out why a policy didn't execute usually means checking the schedule, then the group assignment, then the device status, then the execution log. That's four console views for one question.

Patch AI, the chat widget in the bottom corner of the Automox console, can now answer that question for you. This update connects it to your actual policies, endpoints, audit logs, and Worklet catalog instead of drawing from documentation alone. You still only see data your role-based permissions allow.

Troubleshooting policy behavior

  • "Why didn't this policy execute?"

  • "What is the schedule for all policies linked to this group?"

  • "Which policies ran successfully this week?"

  • "What will patch the next time this policy runs?"

Patch AI can identify whether the cause was a schedule conflict, a device that was already compliant, or a misconfigured group assignment.

Checking endpoint and patch status

  • "What devices are pending patches or reboots?"

  • "Which missing patches are most severe?"

  • "How many Security Updates versus Feature Packs are pending?"

  • "Is Splashtop installed and registered on device name?"

Reviewing recent changes

  • "Are there any audit events for yesterday?"

  • "What changes were made to policies in the last 24 to 48 hours?"

Audit queries support specific or relative dates but are limited to one day per query.

Finding and creating Worklets

Patch AI can search the Automox Worklet catalog and draft new Worklets from a prompt.

  • "Are there any Worklets in the catalog to reboot Windows devices?"

  • "Can you write a Windows Worklet for me?"

Try It

Patch AI now turns a four-view investigation into a single question. Ask why a policy didn't run, which endpoints are still waiting on patches, or what changed in the audit log yesterday, and you'll get an answer grounded in your live environment data. Your role-based permissions still govern what it can see, so the access model doesn't change.

Patch AI is available now in the Automox console. Open it from the bottom corner of any page and start asking.

Frequently asked questions

Patch AI is a chat widget in the Automox console. You open it from the bottom corner of any page, type a question about your environment, and get an answer based on your live data.

The previous version drew from Automox documentation only. This update connects to your live environment, so answers are based on your actual policies, endpoints, and system data.

You only see data that your role-based permissions allow.

Patch AI can help you create Worklets, but for most queries it returns information rather than making changes. It won't modify your policies or endpoints on its own.

Patch AI covers Windows, macOS, and Linux. It queries the same environment data you see in the console, regardless of OS mix.
