Everything is a free search tool for Windows that locates files and folders by name instantly. It shows every file and folder on your computer at launch and narrows the list as you type a search filter. Everything keeps its NTFS index current with the NTFS USN Journal, so results change in real time as the file system changes. It can also search file contents with the content: function, which is slower because contents aren't indexed.
