Summary
After running SCCM for years through Microsoft educational licensing, Bob Antos pushed for close to five years to bring Automox into Trine University, implementing it this past May. He wanted the agility to push changes on demand with a lean team and a way to manage staff endpoints that had moved off campus, outside VPN connectivity. With more than 20 years in IT and 10 at Trine, Bob frames maturity as a hybrid of automation and human oversight: automation clears lower-level admin and reporting so a small staff can focus on the highest-priority security work, including servers and end users who handle PII.
