Automox November 2019 Patch Tuesday Webinar Recap

Did you miss our live review of November’s Patch Tuesday updates? No problem.

In this webinar, we discuss the latest vulnerabilities identified in the last Patch Tuesday roundup. As we discuss in our November Patch Tuesday Breakdown blog, November was lighter in volume than recent months.

This month's update from Microsoft included fixes for 74 vulnerabilities, over a dozen of which were ranked “critical.” This includes resolving a zero-day vulnerability in Internet Explorer that was actively being exploited in the wild, as well as a patch for a publicly disclosed vulnerability. Adobe released two critical security updates related to memory corruption vulnerabilities that can lead to remote code execution.

To see a full index of the major patches released this month, see our November 2019 Patch Tuesday index that provides direct access to the identified CVEs. To view all collateral we’ve created to support the current and past Patch Tuesday updates, check out the Automox Patch Tuesday Rapid Response Center. Each month, we go live with the latest Patch Tuesday updates as soon as they are available.

Other topics we discuss in this webinar include: Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge zero-days, other critical updates and end-of-life news from Microsoft, third-party software patches from Adobe, and a how-to demo on deploying your EPP (ex: CrowdStrike Falcon) via an Automox Worklet.
